Wasyl Pionek made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Cyryl Mikulski sent off a good shot on target. 6 minutes into the match, Ks Skarpa Nowa Huta's goal looked a bit too open when Fryderyk Dudek came free, but Wasyl Pionek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zbyszek Pracki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikolaj Budarz in the 9th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ks Skarpa Nowa Huta's zone, Radowit Osikowicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wasyl Pionek came out of the goal and Radowit Osikowicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 15 minutes Ks Skarpa Nowa Huta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pawel Zukowski who took care of the corner kick. Karol Frankowski tried in the 16th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Wasyl Pionek a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. Wasyl Pionek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izydor Bambas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Cyryl Mikulski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wasyl Pionek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cyryl Mikulski in the 24th minute. Jacek Grondzki's late challenge caught a Rapatten SSA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacek Grondzki helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ks Skarpa Nowa Huta's Jacek Grondzki got a free kick in the 28th minute. The supporters of Ks Skarpa Nowa Huta booed when Rapatten SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pawel Zukowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ks Skarpa Nowa Huta's Jacek Grondzki got his second yellow card of the match in the 33rd minute. The referee ordered Jacek Grondzki off the ground. Fryderyk Dudek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wasyl Pionek having to interfere. Wasyl Pionek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fryderyk Dudek in the 45th minute of the match. Fryderyk Dudek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Wasyl Pionek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fryderyk Dudek was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Rapatten SSA's Pawel Zukowski got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Fryderyk Dudek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cyprian Olchawa might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zbyszek Pracki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cyprian Olchawa ran back to his position shaking his head. Ks Skarpa Nowa Huta's Wasyl Pionek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fryderyk Dudek in the 61st minute of play. In the 65thth minute of the game Fryderyk Dudek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ks Skarpa Nowa Huta's Wasyl Pionek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Cyryl Mikulski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rapatten SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Cyryl Mikulski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wasyl Pionek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wasyl Pionek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fryderyk Dudek, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 86th minute, Zenon Mierzwa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cyryl Mikulski in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wasyl Pionek saved Ks Skarpa Nowa Huta from getting behind. Cyprian Olchawa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ks Skarpa Nowa Huta booed when Rapatten SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Izydor Bambas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wasyl Pionek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fryderyk Dudek went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score.
