In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alken's goalkeeper Miroslaw Bobrowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Witomir Jurgiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslaw Bobrowski having to interfere. Witomir Jurgiel struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Miroslaw Bobrowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rzechów SSA. After 24 played minutes Rzechów SSA got a freekick which was hit by Wit Biraga. 31 minutes into the game, Alken's Tadeusz Jajko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sylwester Okropny made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Witomir Jurgiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustaw Gierlach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miroslaw Bobrowski having to interfere. In the 38th minute of the match, Gustaw Gierlach got a very nice opportunity to score, but Miroslaw Bobrowski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Witomir Jurgiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the match, Rzechów SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Witalis Czciborek came free, but Sylwester Okropny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sylwester Okropny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Jajko in the 50th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Tadeusz Jajko made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Alken got a freekick which was hit by Teofil Kluska. Radowit Pysz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miroslaw Bobrowski having to make a save. Alken's Miroslaw Bobrowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witomir Jurgiel in the 63rd minute of play. Witomir Jurgiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Miroslaw Bobrowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Rzechów SSA booed when Alken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincent Pruss didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gustaw Gierlach came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Rzechów SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaw Gierlach couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Alken's zone, Witomir Jurgiel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miroslaw Bobrowski came out of the goal and Witomir Jurgiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, Witomir Jurgiel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miroslaw Bobrowski. Alken's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Witomir Jurgiel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The supporters of Rzechów SSA booed when Alken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiktor Byczewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Dawid Domalik in the 78th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Miroslaw Bobrowski's left hand side. When Rzechów SSA's Witomir Jurgiel in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Witalis Czciborek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 99 minutes into the match, Witomir Jurgiel notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Alken's Miroslaw Bobrowski. Miroslaw Bobrowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Rzechów SSA were the better team. Rzechów SSA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
