In the 11th minute, Olgierd Hajduk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Wit Kajder was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 11 minutes had been played. But to his dismay, Leonard Dobrowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ulryk Gierlach might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antoni Nakoneczny. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulryk Gierlach ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the match, Slask Wroclaw's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Sokolski came free, but Radowit Jaroszewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Ulryk Gierlach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antoni Nakoneczny breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Antoni Nakoneczny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Hajduk, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Slask Wroclaw had won after a very even match.
