The referee ignored Legia Madrit's protests and gave Cyryl Fink a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Strupiechów. Teobald Siekierka stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Witold Zbikowski. 0-1. When Mieszko Czarnecki came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Strupiechów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mieszko Czarnecki couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute Mieszko Czarnecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witold Zbikowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olaf Jaroch struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Witold Zbikowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Strupiechów. After 15 played minutes Legia Madrit got a freekick which was hit by Grzegorz Rywin. Olaf Jaroch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. After having played for 41 minutes, Olaf Jaroch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strupiechów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olaf Jaroch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Witold Zbikowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mieszko Czarnecki in the 43rd minute of the match. A collision led to Strupiechów getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Gwidon Klejnowski hit a great ball. Olaf Jaroch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Witold Zbikowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mieszko Czarnecki to strike the kick off in the second half. Mieszko Czarnecki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Witold Zbikowski having to make a save. In the 53rd match minute, Strupiechów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radowit Fleischer to maneuver through the defense. Witold Zbikowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mieszko Czarnecki in the 68th minute of play forced Legia Madrit's goalkeeper Witold Zbikowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 minutes Legia Madrit's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Teobald Siekierka who took care of the corner kick. After 75 minutes, Ignacy Blochowiak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Legia Madrit and the Strupiechów players grew even worse after the yellow card.
