Janusz Kaczynski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Zieba's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Jordão Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Janusz Kaczynski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jordão Silva scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Janusz Kaczynski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zachary Zyskowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Iwo Werra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Gotnord fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Gotnord's Jordão Silva looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The referee ignored Elite Eagles's protests and gave Zachary Zyskowski a yellow card for diving instead. Zachary Zyskowski kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Janusz Kaczynski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Zieba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Zieba charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Zieba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After the first half Gotnord were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 96th minute Jordão Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janusz Kaczynski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
