After 5 played minutes Stal Stalowa Wola got a freekick which was hit by Emil Czermak. After a defensive mix-up in Stal Stalowa Wola's zone, Damazy Zdrojewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Pilarski came out of the goal and Damazy Zdrojewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boruc Lewandowski in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Pilarski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Damazy Zdrojewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Pilarski having to interfere. In the 16th minute Damazy Zdrojewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Pilarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Wojciech Sobania hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25thth minute of the game Damazy Zdrojewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stal Stalowa Wola's Herbert Pilarski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Boruc Lewandowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herbert Pilarski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kronfelde reached it. A wasted opportunity for Stal Stalowa Wola.
