The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafal Borcz got free with Wiktor Parzysz in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, Boguslaw Drzewucki notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Barca's Czeslaw Wielgopolski. Czeslaw Wielgopolski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Barca's goalkeeper Czeslaw Wielgopolski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Soweiden's Wiktor Parzysz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Soweiden from getting a goal against them. Czeslaw Wielgopolski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boguslaw Drzewucki's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Julian Brataniec's late challenge caught a FC Barca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Brataniec helped the player get up and apologised. FC Barca's Czeslaw Wielgopolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boguslaw Drzewucki in the 35th minute of play. Napoleon Pilarczyk hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Barca's zone, Boguslaw Drzewucki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Czeslaw Wielgopolski came out of the goal and Boguslaw Drzewucki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FC Barca's Zbigniew Rojewski got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When Boguslaw Drzewucki came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Soweiden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boguslaw Drzewucki couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boguslaw Drzewucki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Beniamin Dytrych fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Zbigniew Hendzel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 60 minutes, Lukasz Maruda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Barca and the Soweiden players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute, Lukasz Maruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zbigniew Hendzel in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wiktor Parzysz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Soweiden's Boguslaw Drzewucki slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Czeslaw Wielgopolski. That made the score 0-2 after 66 minutes of play. 71 minutes into the match, FC Barca's goal looked a bit too open when Boguslaw Drzewucki came free, but Czeslaw Wielgopolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Rafal Borcz managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Barca's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafal Borcz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wiktor Parzysz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zbigniew Hendzel might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wiktor Parzysz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zbigniew Hendzel ran back to his position shaking his head. Rafal Borcz struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Wiktor Parzysz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Barca. Czeslaw Wielgopolski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boguslaw Drzewucki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wiktor Parzysz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbigniew Hendzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, FC Barca's goal looked a bit too open when Boguslaw Drzewucki came free, but Czeslaw Wielgopolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Barca getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Klement Ostrowski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boguslaw Drzewucki in the 93rd minute of play forced FC Barca's goalkeeper Czeslaw Wielgopolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Soweiden's Beniamin Dytrych sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Czeslaw Wielgopolski narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
