Zenon Oryniak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radoslaw Bryk having to interfere. After 9 played minutes KS BRZESKO got a freekick which was hit by Zachariasz Sikola. The supporters of KS BRZESKO booed when DUMA ZAGŁĘBIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zenon Oryniak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliks Mindykowski hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Dobromir Osowski made a precise shot to the right of Teofil Wrzosek. DUMA ZAGŁĘBIA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 24th minute Waclaw Zerde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radoslaw Bryk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grzegorz Fleszar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Radoslaw Bryk. KS BRZESKO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zenon Oryniak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Igor Jajko kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Teofil Wrzosek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dawid Panikowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Waclaw Zerde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radoslaw Bryk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waclaw Zerde's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dawid Panikowski to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dobromir Osowski in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teofil Wrzosek saved DUMA ZAGŁĘBIA from getting behind. KS BRZESKO were furious when Marek Nigbor was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 57th minute, one of KS BRZESKO:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KS BRZESKO. When the match had been going on for 59 minutes, DUMA ZAGŁĘBIA's Ulryk Domamir got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Radoslaw Bryk. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Waclaw Zerde took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Radoslaw Bryk to make any attempt to save it. Feliks Mindykowski charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliks Mindykowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute, Zenon Oryniak made a precise shot to the right of Radoslaw Bryk. KS BRZESKO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 77 minutes into the match, Dobromir Osowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teofil Wrzosek. DUMA ZAGŁĘBIA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dobromir Osowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. 82 minutes into the match, Zenon Oryniak dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Radoslaw Bryk, 2-4. DUMA ZAGŁĘBIA's Waclaw Zerde got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Igor Jajko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Waclaw Zerde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. DUMA ZAGŁĘBIA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
