Eugeniusz Marchewka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. kavo fc's Eugeniusz Marchewka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mieszko Purzycki in the 23rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zula Soroka during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dariusz Setara's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Eugeniusz Marchewka on his right side and into the goal. 30 minutes into the game it was 2-0. In the 36th match minute, kavo fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kajetan Perkowski to maneuver through the defense. If Zdzislaw Rydzyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, kavo fc's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Marchewka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zdzislaw Rydzyk. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zbyszko Sniegowski to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludomil Fedosz in the 53rd minute of play forced kavo fc's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Marchewka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Zdzislaw Rydzyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugeniusz Marchewka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Kajetan Perkowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. kavo fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sosnowiec Panthers the free kick. The supporters of Sosnowiec Panthers booed when kavo fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kajetan Perkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Sosnowiec Panthers's Zdzislaw Rydzyk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugeniusz Marchewka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszko Sniegowski in the 75th minute of play forced kavo fc's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Marchewka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobald Bielenda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugeniusz Marchewka having to interfere. Zbyszko Sniegowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugeniusz Marchewka having to make a save. Eugeniusz Marchewka came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Sosnowiec Panthers's Zdzislaw Rydzyk. But to his dismay, Zdzislaw Rydzyk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0.
