The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tadeusz Sowa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fryderyk Mondrowski in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Andrzej Ikalewicz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Baborowo's Miroslaw Psotka. Miroslaw Psotka was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Fryderyk Mondrowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeusz Sowa was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. A collision led to Rynowo getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Edmund Kaszubik hit a great ball. Tadeusz Sowa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fryderyk Mondrowski in the 22nd minute of the match. When Iwo Trochowski fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rynowo's protests and gave Iwo Trochowski a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Rynowo got a freekick which was hit by Iwo Trochowski. Fryderyk Mondrowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Tadeusz Sowa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31stth minute of the game Iwo Trochowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baborowo's Miroslaw Psotka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute Fryderyk Mondrowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Sowa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Korneliusz Ikalewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Korneliusz Ikalewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Korneliusz Ikalewicz hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fryderyk Mondrowski in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeusz Sowa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 37 played minutes Rynowo got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Kaszubik. 41 minutes into the game, Radoslaw Biskupiak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tadeusz Sowa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iwo Trochowski made a kick off. When Iwo Trochowski came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Rynowo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iwo Trochowski couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Baborowo booed when Rynowo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marek Mios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miroslaw Psotka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwo Trochowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Baborowo's Radoslaw Biskupiak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tadeusz Sowa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lukasz Olejarz hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Baborowo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kryspin Dankowski in the 88th minute. A nice corner shot did that Kryspin Dankowski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tadeusz Sowa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 92 played minutes Baborowo got a freekick which was hit by Mariusz Naumowicz. After 93 minutes of play, Rynowo's Iwo Trochowski made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miroslaw Psotka was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rynowo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
