When Hugon Czajka came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the FC Blood Warriors Gdańsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugon Czajka couldn't finish the play. Sylwester Kosakowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Dominik Kosakowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacek Malewicz during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Blood Warriors Gdańsk booed when GLKS Strzelce Wielkie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacek Malewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Bernard Podolski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Blood Warriors Gdańsk's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernard Podolski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominik Kosakowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sylwester Kosakowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dominik Kosakowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sylwester Kosakowski ran back to his position shaking his head. 18 minutes into the game, Sylwester Kosakowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dominik Kosakowski. Sylwester Kosakowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Podolski in the 21st minute of play forced GLKS Strzelce Wielkie's goalkeeper Dominik Kosakowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Kolbert in the 25th minute of play forced FC Blood Warriors Gdańsk's goalkeeper Izydor Skonieczny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Blood Warriors Gdańsk's Sylwester Kosakowski got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC Blood Warriors Gdańsk's Bartlomiej Bulkiewicz got a free kick in the 30th minute. Dominik Kosakowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludomir Hryc, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 44 played minutes FC Blood Warriors Gdańsk got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Mroczynski. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sylwester Kosakowski made the kick off in the second half. Artur Kolbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Izydor Skonieczny having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Blood Warriors Gdańsk's zone, Artur Kolbert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Izydor Skonieczny came out of the goal and Artur Kolbert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernard Podolski struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Dominik Kosakowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Blood Warriors Gdańsk. Herbert Bendyk might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Izydor Skonieczny. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
