Spectators: 7372 (Terracing: 5530, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wincenty Zjawin kicked off to start the match. Wladyslaw Bielecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Przemyslaw Gurgul in the 4th minute of play. When Szczepan Lanczak fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.K.S. Śrem's protests and gave Szczepan Lanczak a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in A.K.S. Śrem's zone, Jan Falkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franciszek Charlap came out of the goal and Jan Falkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Wincenty Zjawin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Benenard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wincenty Zjawin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Wincenty Zjawin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benenard's supporters rose to their feet, but Wincenty Zjawin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franciszek Charlap breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th match minute, Benenard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludomil Chojnacki to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikolaj Szkaradek in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wladyslaw Bielecki saved Benenard from getting behind. Mikolaj Szkaradek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Szczepan Lanczak kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Wladyslaw Prus hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Mikolaj Szkaradek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wladyslaw Bielecki having to make a save. Przemyslaw Gurgul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 53rd minute, Wincent Fink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Benenard! In the 61st minute there was a penalty for A.K.S. Śrem. Janusz Palzewicz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wladyslaw Bielecki. 0-1. When Mikolaj Szkaradek came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the A.K.S. Śrem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikolaj Szkaradek couldn't finish the play. Stefan Dranka's late challenge caught a A.K.S. Śrem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefan Dranka helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Benenard getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Stefan Dranka hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Benenard's goal looked a bit too open when Mikolaj Szkaradek came free, but Wladyslaw Bielecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franciszek Charlap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wincenty Polek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wincenty Zjawin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mikolaj Szkaradek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wincenty Polek in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franciszek Charlap prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Wincenty Zjawin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benenard's supporters rose to their feet, but Wincenty Zjawin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A very good chance. Benenard's Wincenty Polek got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A.K.S. Śrem were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Benenard's much stronger midfield.
