In the 31stth minute of the game Antoni Borcz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Rybniczanie's Kryspin Gdaniec was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Waldemar Bochinski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gwidon Boruta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Olkusz United's Antoni Borcz fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 38thth minute of the game Antoni Borcz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Rybniczanie's Kryspin Gdaniec was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd play minute Tomasz Golec came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kryspin Gdaniec. 1-2. 46 minutes into the game, Ryszard Topolski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olkusz United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Rybniczanie the free kick. After a rather tough play, Olkusz United's Ryszard Topolski got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antoni Borcz to make the kick off. When Jacek Kapelski fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Rybniczanie's protests and gave Jacek Kapelski a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Rybniczanie getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jacek Kapelski hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Roman Cetnar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kryspin Gdaniec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoni Borcz, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roman Cetnar during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Rybniczanie's Roman Cetnar got a free kick in the 55th minute. Kryspin Gdaniec came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Olkusz United's Antoni Borcz. But to his dismay, Antoni Borcz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 59th minute, Szczepan Sniegowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Rybniczanie's Pankracy Jajecznica got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kryspin Gdaniec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomasz Golec in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Tomasz Golec cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Kryspin Gdaniec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antoni Borcz in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kryspin Gdaniec saved FC Rybniczanie from getting behind. After having played for 79 minutes, Antoni Borcz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olkusz United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antoni Borcz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antoni Borcz in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kryspin Gdaniec saved FC Rybniczanie from getting behind. Tomasz Golec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kryspin Gdaniec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoni Borcz, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When Olkusz United's Antoni Borcz in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Rybniczanie's goalie prevented a goal. Antoni Borcz took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kryspin Gdaniec. Kryspin Gdaniec dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Rybniczanie players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Olkusz United.
