In the 21st minute, Bartosz Pilipiec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute Hieronim Jaroszewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdzislaw Popowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bartosz Pilipiec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zdzislaw Popowicz having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ryszard Joks during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hieronim Jaroszewicz in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zdzislaw Popowicz saved Miners Mysłowice from getting behind. Zdzislaw Popowicz came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by jestembiały's Bartosz Pilipiec. But to his dismay, Bartosz Pilipiec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Hieronim Jaroszewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Zdzislaw Popowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Mateusz Lenertej hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Kostka shot from long distance in the 38th minute, but Zdzislaw Popowicz was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. A collision led to jestembiały getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ryszard Joks hit a great ball. In the 42nd match minute, jestembiały was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryszard Joks to maneuver through the defense. If Bartosz Pilipiec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Miners Mysłowice's zone, Bartosz Pilipiec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zdzislaw Popowicz came out of the goal and Bartosz Pilipiec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Zdzislaw Popowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hieronim Jaroszewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 67 played minutes Miners Mysłowice got a freekick which was hit by Walery Wrzosek. In the 68th minute of the match Edgar Kostka shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zdzislaw Popowicz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zdzislaw Popowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hieronim Jaroszewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miners Mysłowice's Zdzislaw Popowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hieronim Jaroszewicz in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. jestembiały had played much better football throughout.
