With a little luck, polonia's Lukasz Barys got control of the ball when Aleksander Dynda tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, polonia's goal looked a bit too open when Wlodzimierz Rosen came free, but Lukasz Barys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Retki SSA's zone, Emil Pliszka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norbert Kapelski came out of the goal and Emil Pliszka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, Retki SSA's Aleksander Dynda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lukasz Barys narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Norbert Kapelski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tymoteusz Ziombkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Wlodzimierz Rosen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aleksander Dynda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Lukasz Barys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Lukasz Barys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lukasz Barys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Rosen, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Aleksander Dynda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukasz Barys having to interfere. Emil Pliszka took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norbert Kapelski. Norbert Kapelski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In a very dangerous position, a player in Retki SSA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 88 minutes, polonia's Leonard Bochinski got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Norbert Kapelski. Emil Pliszka who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Norbert Kapelski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Emil Pliszka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. polonia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
