Stanislaw Kilar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feliks Olszewski having to make a save. 20 minutes into the match, Nadzieja Koszuty's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Jestrimski came free, but Feliks Olszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliks Olszewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Jestrimski, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Dariusz Trojanowski charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dariusz Trojanowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes Nadzieja Koszuty got a freekick which was hit by Dariusz Trojanowski. Gwidon Czysty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Nadzieja Koszuty's Sylwester Pilarczyk got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Nadzieja Koszuty's Sylwester Pilarczyk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Daniel Niemoj. Daniel Niemoj yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Dariusz Trojanowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Niemoj having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Alfred Jestrimski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Olszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliks Olszewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislaw Kilar in the 95th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
