Gilbert Noworolnik charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilbert Noworolnik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes Krupiec got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Noworolnik. In the 19th minute, one of Krupiec:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Krupiec. Krupiec:s Fryderyk Kon showed great skill when he stopped Iwan Lichorobiec:s penalty. The crowd rose to their feet as Eugeniusz Pyczkowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fryderyk Kon. That made the score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. Benedykt Bubczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Fryderyk Kon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. WIDZEW had played much better football throughout.
