Flavio Polido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Klocko having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Rayo Nets Zaw's supporters crossed their fingers, but Themistoklis Nikolaidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julian Klocko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Themistoklis Nikolaidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rayo Nets Zaw fully deserved thier win.
