Imortal's supporters rose to their feet, but Zygmunt Ogrodowicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boleslaw Topolski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boleslaw Topolski was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Miromir Gierasik capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Miromir Gierasik really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, Marcovia Marki's goalkeeper Boleslaw Topolski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zygmunt Ogrodowicz. Wlodzimierz Arendarski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Imortal's zone, Tanek Waselewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustaw Chrobak came out of the goal and Tanek Waselewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C. Imortal's goalkeeper Gustaw Chrobak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Marcovia Marki's goal looked a bit too open when Miromir Gierasik came free, but Boleslaw Topolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zygmunt Ogrodowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boleslaw Topolski having to interfere. Czeslaw Okropny hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. F.C. Imortal's Gustaw Chrobak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanek Waselewicz in the 41st minute of play. Gustaw Chrobak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tanek Waselewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanek Waselewicz in the 48th minute of play forced F.C. Imortal's goalkeeper Gustaw Chrobak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wlodzimierz Arendarski to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Wlodzimierz Arendarski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustaw Chrobak was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. A collision led to F.C. Imortal getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Wojciech Sokolski hit a great ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tanek Waselewicz couldn't finish the play. Wlodzimierz Arendarski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustaw Chrobak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Marcovia Marki's goal looked a bit too open when Tanek Czerner came free, but Boleslaw Topolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeusz Falk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Boleslaw Topolski. Marcovia Marki's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Wlodzimierz Arendarski managed to get in a good position for a shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The F.C. Imortal fans cheered their team off the field, for while Marcovia Marki had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
