In the 19th minute, Hugon Wrzosek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugon Wrzosek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Konrad Smolarek took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pankracy Dabrowski to make any attempt to save it. Pawel Dropinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pawel Dropinski was the one to do the kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pankracy Dabrowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Konrad Smolarek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pankracy Dabrowski was relentless in the 59th minute of the game.
