Görken's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaw Maziarz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Krzysztof Pochorylo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Krzysztof Pochorylo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaw Maziarz in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Wojciech Zagrodny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
