In the 3rd minute Gilbert Gniech shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimierz Zima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Gniech in the 8th minute of play forced FC Monster's goalkeeper Kazimierz Zima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miromir Wielowiejski was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Zenon Marchlewicz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zenon Marchlewicz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Gilbert Gniech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kazimierz Zima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wit Marud in the 18th minute of the match. When Zenon Marchlewicz came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the FC Monster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zenon Marchlewicz couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, Wit Marud had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kazimierz Zima. FC Monster's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wit Marud was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 27th minute of the match Dominik Bendyk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kazimierz Zima skillfully saved the ball. Gilbert Gniech might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kazimierz Zima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilbert Gniech ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of FC Monster booed when REAL MADRYT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Mikulski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Zenon Marchlewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but REAL MADRYT's Miromir Wielowiejski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kazimierz Zima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wit Marud, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Gilbert Gniech recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the match, REAL MADRYT's Wit Marud sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kazimierz Zima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Witomir Brysz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilbert Gniech fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazimierz Zima having to interfere. Witomir Brysz struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Miromir Wielowiejski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Monster. Miromir Wielowiejski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zenon Marchlewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Przemyslaw Niezywy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute of the match Hieronim Furlit sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miromir Wielowiejski skillfully saved the ball. In the 69th minute Gilbert Gniech shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimierz Zima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. REAL MADRYT's Miromir Wielowiejski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zenon Marchlewicz in the 71st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Witomir Brysz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miromir Wielowiejski was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. If Wit Marud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Wit Marud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. REAL MADRYT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wit Marud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilbert Gniech received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Kazimierz Zima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wit Marud blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kazimierz Zima having to make a save. Zenon Marchlewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miromir Wielowiejski having to interfere.
