The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Pawel Pilarczyk recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ziemowit Balkiewicz. Pawel Pilarczyk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 6th minute, Pawel Pilarczyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kajetan Witwicki kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When Szubina's Pawel Pilarczyk in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored Szubina's protests and gave Edgar Cieslak a yellow card for diving instead. Edgar Cieslak hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Ziemowit Balkiewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldemar Borucki in the 40th minute. In the 43rd play minute Waldemar Borucki came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ziemowit Balkiewicz. 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pawel Pilarczyk made a kick off. A collision led to Szubina getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ulryk Pazura hit a great ball. Ziemowit Balkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Pilarczyk in the 90th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Pawel Pilarczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Szubina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pawel Pilarczyk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Waldemar Borucki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ziemowit Balkiewicz was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Szubina walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
