Barnaba Wiatrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Kiepski in the 31st minute of play. Grzegorz Kiewra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grzegorz Kiewra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klement Debowski having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olaf Kiepski in the 38th minute of play forced Young Boys's goalkeeper Barnaba Wiatrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barnaba Wiatrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Kiepski in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wladyslaw Kasprzykowski in the 43rd minute of play forced Young Boys's goalkeeper Barnaba Wiatrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Young Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Kiepski came free, but Barnaba Wiatrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Young Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Ziemniak to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The referee showed Edward Ziemniak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Young Boys's Barnaba Wiatrak got control of the ball when Olaf Kiepski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute Wladyslaw Kasprzykowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnaba Wiatrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grzegorz Kiewra scored 2-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Klement Debowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Grzegorz Kiewra came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Young Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grzegorz Kiewra couldn't finish the play. Edward Ziemniak scored 3-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Klement Debowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 88 minutes into the match, Young Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Wladyslaw Kasprzykowski came free, but Barnaba Wiatrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 played minutes, Young Boys's Lukasz Bentkowski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Klement Debowski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Young Boys reached it. 96 minutes into the match, Young Boys's goalkeeper Barnaba Wiatrak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olaf Kiepski. 97 minutes into the game, Wladyslaw Kasprzykowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Barnaba Wiatrak. Wladyslaw Kasprzykowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Young Boys had played much better football throughout.
