Borys Liermann showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Witold Piszczor's late challenge caught a Grabianka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Witold Piszczor helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Grabianka booed when Goldbach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witold Piszczor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Grabianka's Borys Liermann ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Walery Tarka. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walery Tarka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Borys Liermann in the 34th minute of play. Miromir Fink struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Alfred Tyszka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goldbach. Alfred Tyszka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miromir Fink, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Borys Liermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Grabianka had played much better football throughout.
