Górsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Izydor Wisniewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wit Czubski to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Izydor Wisniewski in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwan Gecionis saved PoLoNiA WaRsZaWa from getting behind. If Daniel Waselenczuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PoLoNiA WaRsZaWa's Iwan Gecionis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izydor Wisniewski in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in PoLoNiA WaRsZaWa's zone, Izydor Wisniewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwan Gecionis came out of the goal and Izydor Wisniewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iwan Gecionis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Górsk were the better team. Górsk's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
