The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wlodzimierz Ogrodowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the match, Wickno's goal looked a bit too open when Wlodzimierz Ogrodowicz came free, but Juliusz Zworski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aleksander Naumowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aleksander Naumowicz got free with Juliusz Zworski in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tobiasz Lepucki struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Boruc Serwacki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wickno. Ganthen SA's Boruc Serwacki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobiasz Lepucki in the 20th minute of play. Juliusz Zworski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wlodzimierz Ogrodowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tolek Dropinski lost his temper 27 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 26th minute, one of Wickno:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wickno. After a rather tough play, Ganthen SA's Bernard Wolnik got a free kick in the 31st minute. Aleksander Naumowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Wickno's zone, Wlodzimierz Ogrodowicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juliusz Zworski came out of the goal and Wlodzimierz Ogrodowicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Wlodzimierz Ogrodowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ganthen SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wlodzimierz Ogrodowicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Wickno's goalkeeper Juliusz Zworski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Wickno's goal looked a bit too open when Wlodzimierz Ogrodowicz came free, but Juliusz Zworski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juliusz Zworski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Ogrodowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wlodzimierz Ogrodowicz to make the kick off. Tobiasz Lepucki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boruc Serwacki having to interfere. If Wlodzimierz Ogrodowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobiasz Lepucki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ganthen SA's Aleksander Naumowicz got a free kick in the 75th minute. If Wlodzimierz Ogrodowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Wickno booed when Ganthen SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakub Bykowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Aleksander Naumowicz made a precise shot to the right of Juliusz Zworski. Wickno's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Tobiasz Lepucki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wlodzimierz Ogrodowicz in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juliusz Zworski saved Wickno from getting behind. Wickno's Juliusz Zworski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wlodzimierz Ogrodowicz in the 94th minute of play. When Tobiasz Lepucki came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Wickno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobiasz Lepucki couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Wickno players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ganthen SA.
