He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Slayer reached it. Jerzy Marut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piotr Hatman in the 14th minute of the match. Ziemowit Starogardzki scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jerzy Marut, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iwo Kaznocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wawrzyniec Rywin having to interfere. Piotr Hatman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Marut having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radoslaw Chrobak in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wawrzyniec Rywin saved Slayer from getting behind. Iwo Kaznocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Wawrzyniec Rywin made a huge save. Iwo Kaznocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The bednarska players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Slayer were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Piotr Hatman made a kick off. Wawrzyniec Rywin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radoslaw Chrobak in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute Radoslaw Chrobak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Rywin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wawrzyniec Rywin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radoslaw Chrobak, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Ziemowit Starogardzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maksymilian Siwek charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maksymilian Siwek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Slayer getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Maksymilian Siwek hit a great ball. Radoslaw Chrobak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zbigniew Magdziarz kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Piotr Hatman might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerzy Marut. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ziemowit Starogardzki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Jerzy Marut when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radoslaw Chrobak in the 79th minute of play forced Slayer's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Rywin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in bednarska's zone, Ziemowit Starogardzki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerzy Marut came out of the goal and Ziemowit Starogardzki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Slayer eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
