The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sylwester Dyczkowski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Layss was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korneliusz Tscherner to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute Kunkowa SA were awarded a corner. Damazy Tobaczewski went to the cornerflag to take it. Antoni Lichniak made a great header on Kunkowa SA's corner, it was just that Layss's Czeslaw Madajczyk managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Leszek Maciejewski sped through Kunkowa SA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jerzy Gall. Kunkowa SA's Jerzy Gall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedykt Budzynski in the 32nd minute of play. When Sylwester Dyczkowski came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Kunkowa SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sylwester Dyczkowski couldn't finish the play. If Sylwester Dyczkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 47th minute, Damazy Tobaczewski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Layss's Czeslaw Madajczyk didn't even have to move. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Benedykt Budzynski made the kick off in the second half. Tolek Chmielecki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Czeslaw Madajczyk having to interfere. Tolek Siekierka charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tolek Siekierka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kunkowa SA booed when Layss was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolek Siekierka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mieszko Wolniewicz spun around in front of the goal 62 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Layss's goal. Czeslaw Madajczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mieszko Wolniewicz in the 67th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kunkowa SA's zone, Leszek Maciejewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerzy Gall came out of the goal and Leszek Maciejewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benedykt Budzynski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Gall having to interfere. Kunkowa SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mieszko Wolniewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sylwester Dyczkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Czeslaw Madajczyk having to interfere. Benedykt Budzynski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
