Tolek Serwach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Ziemniak in the 18th minute of the match. Zbyszek Kosiorek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Witold Tychy's late challenge caught a BRIGHTON FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Witold Tychy helped the player get up and apologised. Tolek Serwach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstanty Pinczewski in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, BRIGHTON FC's Cezary Rutkowski got a free kick in the 41st minute. Miroslaw Witkowski made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Zbyszek Kosiorek sent off a good shot on target. When Konstanty Pinczewski came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the BRIGHTON FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konstanty Pinczewski couldn't finish the play.
