Cyprian Anszczak had several of the Kujawiak Kruszyn's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Witold Solecki as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to Kujawiak Kruszyn getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Lechia Gdańsk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Kujawiak Kruszyn supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kujawiak Kruszyn would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
