The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. XYZ's Cyprian Pruss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Tarka in the 4th minute of play. Cyprian Pruss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Bierfass, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. If Emil Bierfass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Tarka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 22nd minute, Wojciech Furtok hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Emil Bierfass came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Mak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emil Bierfass couldn't finish the play. Cyprian Pruss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Luty in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute Artur Tarka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyprian Pruss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cyprian Pruss came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Mak's Emil Bierfass. But to his dismay, Emil Bierfass quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Jerzy Luty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Artur Tarka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tymoteusz Rzegotka to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, XYZ's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Tarka came free, but Cyprian Pruss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kacper Raflewski hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mak's goalkeeper Dominik Makarewicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tymoteusz Rzegotka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, XYZ's Waclaw Drzewucki got a free kick in the 76th minute. Emil Bierfass received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Cyprian Pruss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Artur Tarka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyprian Pruss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emil Bierfass got free with Cyprian Pruss in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the match, Artur Tarka notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of XYZ's Cyprian Pruss. Cyprian Pruss was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over Mak could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than XYZ throughout the match.
