Jurand Zukowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabian Cieliczka slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. 8 minutes in the game, Fabian Cieliczka fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jurand Zukowski having to interfere. Zagłębie Sosnowiec's Jurand Zukowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Gongola in the 9th minute of play. Zagłębie Sosnowiec's Walery Brataniec got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Zagłębie Sosnowiec's Walery Brataniec in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Czeslaw Osielski's late challenge caught a Jatne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Czeslaw Osielski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Jatne booed when Zagłębie Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominik Gongola might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jurand Zukowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dominik Gongola ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Fabian Cieliczka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jatne's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Cieliczka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jurand Zukowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Dominik Gongola put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jurand Zukowski. After 75 minutes of play, Zagłębie Sosnowiec's Marian Brataniec made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonard Kochowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dominik Gongola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurand Zukowski having to interfere. When Fabian Cieliczka came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Jatne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Cieliczka couldn't finish the play. When Jatne's Dominik Gongola in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
