After a defensive mix-up in Sulki's zone, Barnaba Siedlecki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dobromir Pietras during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 minutes of play, Nowina's Korneliusz Kaminski made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gwidon Michnik was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Alfred Giejda came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Sulki fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfred Giejda couldn't finish the play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Korneliusz Kaminski made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Giejda in the 52nd minute of play forced Nowina's goalkeeper Iwan Pisarczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Sulki's Boruc Kluczyk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iwan Pisarczyk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thus it was 1-1. 74 minutes into the match, Nowina's goal looked a bit too open when Boruc Kluczyk came free, but Iwan Pisarczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Sulki fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Edmund Skarpiak struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Iwan Pisarczyk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sulki. If Korneliusz Kaminski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Nowina's Korneliusz Kaminski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
