Spectators: 7165 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tomasz Gibowski made the kick off which started today's match. Iwan Pisarczyk came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Polonia Bydgoszcz's Tanek Ruszkowski. But to his dismay, Tanek Ruszkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Lukasz Turacki kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Lukasz Turacki was shown his second yellow card after 14 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 15 played minutes Nowina got a freekick which was hit by Lukasz Turacki. The attack was good, but when Tanek Ruszkowski in the 16th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 21st minute, Barnaba Siedlecki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Korneliusz Kaminski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nowina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Zula Sanocki came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Nowina's Barnaba Siedlecki. But to his dismay, Barnaba Siedlecki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 31st play minute Tanek Ruszkowski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Iwan Pisarczyk. 2-3. In the 37th minute, Barnaba Siedlecki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute, Barnaba Siedlecki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zula Sanocki was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Barnaba Siedlecki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nowina's supporters rose to their feet, but Barnaba Siedlecki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zula Sanocki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 47 played minutes Polonia Bydgoszcz got a freekick which was hit by Fryderyk Bartocha. The Polonia Bydgoszcz players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nowina were winning 2-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Barnaba Siedlecki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Barnaba Siedlecki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zula Sanocki having to interfere. Mateusz Ziomkowski charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateusz Ziomkowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Nowina got a freekick which was hit by Mateusz Ziomkowski. When Barnaba Siedlecki came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Nowina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barnaba Siedlecki couldn't finish the play. Iwan Pisarczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomasz Gibowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 73rd minute of the match Mateusz Ziomkowski completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mateusz Ziomkowski a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Polonia Bydgoszcz booed when Nowina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateusz Ziomkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tanek Ruszkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Pisarczyk having to interfere. Nowina's Iwan Pisarczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Gibowski in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Polonia Bydgoszcz's zone, Barnaba Siedlecki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zula Sanocki came out of the goal and Barnaba Siedlecki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iwan Pisarczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tanek Ruszkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nowina's Korneliusz Kaminski got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edward Zdanowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zula Sanocki having to interfere. Korneliusz Kaminski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Edward Zdanowicz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zula Sanocki. Edward Zdanowicz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. If Barnaba Siedlecki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nowina's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
