Stanislaw Wiater breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hugon Grondzki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Stefan Kanczuszewski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Hugon Grondzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Szczepan Pincoski fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
