The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Eugeniusz Czajka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gany SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugeniusz Czajka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dariusz Zaremba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan Bara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patryk Hejza in the 9th minute of play. Jan Bara was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Lucjan Szkarpiak capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucjan Szkarpiak really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Gany SSA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Patryk Hejza scored to the left of an out of position Jan Bara, making the score, 2-0. After having played for 18 minutes, Eugeniusz Czajka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gany SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugeniusz Czajka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patryk Hejza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Bara having to interfere. When Zbigniew Niziolek came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Gany SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zbigniew Niziolek couldn't finish the play. Jan Bara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucjan Szkarpiak in the 29th minute. Lucjan Szkarpiak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. In the 45th minute Zbigniew Niziolek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Zaremba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 49 minutes into the game, Gany SSA's Eugeniusz Czajka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dariusz Zaremba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patryk Hejza to strike the kick off in the second half. Eugeniusz Czajka struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Dariusz Zaremba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gany SSA. In the 71st minute, Patryk Hejza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Lucjan Szkarpiak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan Bara. Gany SSA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucjan Szkarpiak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Dariusz Zaremba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugeniusz Czajka in the 80th minute of the match. The Skarbiciesz fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gany SSA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
