Spectators: 7240 (Terracing: 5432, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zenon Iwaszko kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Silesiana's zone, Adam Cetnar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kryspin Giertych came out of the goal and Adam Cetnar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustaw Drab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piotr Banan having to interfere. Kryspin Giertych showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiktor Wrzosek in the 9th minute of the match. Wiktor Wrzosek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kryspin Giertych having to make a save. 20 minutes into the game, Zenon Iwaszko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Piotr Banan. Zenon Iwaszko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, Majeczka's Zachariasz Gieraltowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kryspin Giertych narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Pawel Tuliszewski put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Silesiana fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! When Zachariasz Gieraltowski came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Majeczka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zachariasz Gieraltowski couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaw Drab got free with Piotr Banan in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th play minute Gustaw Drab came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Piotr Banan. 2-0. 40 minutes into the match, Marek Kosowski notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Silesiana's Kryspin Giertych. Kryspin Giertych was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Marek Kosowski came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Majeczka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marek Kosowski couldn't finish the play. If Gustaw Drab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zachariasz Gieraltowski made a kick off. If Zenon Smolarek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zenon Smolarek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kryspin Giertych having to make a save. If Adam Cetnar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Zenon Smolarek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Majeczka players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
