Jan Basaik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kryspin Giertych having to interfere. In the 5th minute of the match Roland Wodaszak sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kryspin Giertych skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Kopacz in the 9th minute of play forced Silesiana's goalkeeper Kryspin Giertych to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Silesiana booed when FC Pinturicchio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Basaik didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Kopacz in the 17th minute of play forced Silesiana's goalkeeper Kryspin Giertych to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaw Drab recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute Olgierd Kopacz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Giertych saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olgierd Kopacz struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Kryspin Giertych didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Pinturicchio. In the 29thth minute of the game Olgierd Kopacz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Silesiana's Kryspin Giertych was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kryspin Giertych didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Basaik went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Janusz Misiorowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zenon Iwaszko, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some careless play in the Silesiana defense, Olgierd Kopacz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kryspin Giertych. The Silesiana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kryspin Giertych should have stopped the shot. Dawid Kochowski kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Silesiana players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Pinturicchio were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zenon Iwaszko to make the kick off. Waclaw Bejger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 56 played minutes FC Pinturicchio got a freekick which was hit by Dawid Kochowski. Gustaw Drab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Waclaw Bejger had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Ryszard Domaracki hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Jan Basaik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kryspin Giertych having to interfere. Jan Basaik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jan Basaik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kryspin Giertych made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan Basaik in the 84th minute. Zenon Iwaszko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Janusz Misiorowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Jan Basaik managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Pinturicchio's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Basaik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kryspin Giertych breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the match, Silesiana's goalkeeper Kryspin Giertych had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan Basaik. Jan Basaik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olgierd Kopacz during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 98 played minutes FC Pinturicchio got a freekick which was hit by Olgierd Kopacz. The FC Pinturicchio supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Pinturicchio would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
