The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Dariusz Duda came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the GKS Ruch Radzionków fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dariusz Duda couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Szymon Glogowski in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iwan Domarecki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Leonard Gibowski came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Flisak TORUŃ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Gibowski couldn't finish the play. Gwidon Gargasz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boleslaw Laba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iwan Domarecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Gibowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szymon Glogowski in the 20th minute of play forced GKS Ruch Radzionków's goalkeeper Iwan Domarecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Leonard Gibowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iwan Domarecki was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Szymon Glogowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Iwan Domarecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kazimierz Zerde fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GKS Ruch Radzionków's protests and gave Kazimierz Zerde a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes GKS Ruch Radzionków got a freekick which was hit by Kazimierz Zerde. Flisak TORUŃ were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after GKS Ruch Radzionków's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stanislaw Michnik took the corner. If Szymon Glogowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Szymon Glogowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Gibowski got free with Iwan Domarecki in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iwan Domarecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szymon Glogowski in the 61st minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Szymon Glogowski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Szymon Glogowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Iwan Domarecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Flisak TORUŃ booed when GKS Ruch Radzionków was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Dynda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iwan Domarecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szymon Glogowski in the 68th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Boleslaw Laba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonard Gibowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The GKS Ruch Radzionków supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Flisak TORUŃ's performance. The match ended with a win for Flisak TORUŃ.
