The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cezary Wachna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Emil Juchno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Siemnice's goal looked a bit too open when Janusz Pankiewicz came free, but Jacek Nakoneczny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cezary Wachna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Emil Juchno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Janusz Pankiewicz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacek Nakoneczny came out and tried to block the shot, but Janusz Pankiewicz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. Cezary Wachna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Juchno having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cezary Wachna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Juchno was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 37th minute, Krzysztof Trzemzalski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute, Janusz Pankiewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Janusz Pankiewicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Lubanowo booed when Siemnice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Domeradzki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacek Nakoneczny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslaw Madej, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 58th minute Krzysztof Trzemzalski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Juchno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-1 became the score in the 61st minute when Cezary Wachna elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Krzysztof Trzemzalski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emil Juchno. The goal made the score 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Cezary Wachna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Siemnice's supporters rose to their feet, but Cezary Wachna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Juchno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cezary Wachna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Janusz Pankiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Lubanowo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Janusz Pankiewicz couldn't finish the play. Cezary Wachna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Juchno having to interfere. Krzysztof Trzemzalski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emil Juchno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. When the match was over Siemnice could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lubanowo throughout the match.
