An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludomir Fronczak in the 3rd minute of play forced Orkan Gostkowo's goalkeeper Sebastian Koprowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Koprowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludomir Fronczak in the 6th minute of the match. When Jakub Patrylo came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Piła fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jakub Patrylo couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dominik Kolbe during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Orkan Gostkowo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominik Kolbe to maneuver through the defense. Jakub Patrylos short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Sebastian Koprowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ludomir Fronczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Koprowski having to interfere. Dariusz Gurgul took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arkadiusz Rutkowski. Arkadiusz Rutkowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sebastian Koprowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludomir Fronczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Ludomir Fronczak put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sebastian Koprowski. Orkan Gostkowo's Sebastian Koprowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludomir Fronczak in the 34th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dariusz Trochowski during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th match minute, Orkan Gostkowo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dariusz Trochowski to maneuver through the defense. Sebastian Koprowski came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Piła's Jakub Patrylo. But to his dismay, Jakub Patrylo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 41 minutes into the game, Piła's Jakub Patrylo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Koprowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 45th minute, Dariusz Gurgul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orkan Gostkowo's Herbert Skwira got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Piła's Arkadiusz Rutkowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Piła from getting a goal against them. Dariusz Gurgul took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arkadiusz Rutkowski. Arkadiusz Rutkowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Marek Chazon hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Herbert Skwira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Koprowski came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Piła's Ludomir Fronczak. But to his dismay, Ludomir Fronczak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. If Dariusz Gurgul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ludomir Fronczak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Sebastian Koprowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludomir Fronczak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Koprowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to Orkan Gostkowo getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Dominik Kolbe hit a great ball. Patryk Jucha's late challenge caught a Orkan Gostkowo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patryk Jucha helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Orkan Gostkowo booed when Piła was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patryk Jucha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orkan Gostkowo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bartlomiej Puchlik in the 88th minute. Teobald Ruzicki made a great header on Orkan Gostkowo's corner, it was just that Piła's Arkadiusz Rutkowski managed to reach the ball for a save. Dariusz Gurgul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkadiusz Rutkowski having to interfere. If Ludomir Fronczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
