Ludomir Zbydniewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Niemojewski having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Klement Marchewka reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Artur Niemojewski. The goal made the score 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Zygmunt Orlicki managed to get in a good position for a shot. GKS Piomar's supporters rose to their feet, but Zygmunt Orlicki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iwan Sobania breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute Klement Marchewka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Niemojewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 22 minutes, Zygmunt Orlicki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GKS Piomar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zygmunt Orlicki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Borowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Sobania having to interfere. Tolek Ratulowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iwan Sobania made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Skorny in the 34th minute of play. Daniel Borowski struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Iwan Sobania didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GKS Piomar. After 43 played minutes Kosiska SSA got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Miodek. After 45 played minutes Kosiska SSA got a freekick which was hit by Klement Marchewka. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Klement Marchewka made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Borowski scored 1-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iwan Sobania, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Kosiska SSA defense, Daniel Borowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iwan Sobania. The Kosiska SSA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iwan Sobania should have stopped the shot. If Ludomir Zbydniewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iwan Sobania made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Borowski in the 67th minute. With his leg Iwan Sobania managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when GKS Piomar's Daniel Borowski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to GKS Piomar getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Tolek Ratulowski hit a great ball. With a little luck, Kosiska SSA's Iwan Sobania got control of the ball when Przemyslaw Drugi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Klement Marchewka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kosiska SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Klement Marchewka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Niemojewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Kosiska SSA getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Bernard Pietrasz hit a great ball. If Tolek Cwynar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Przemyslaw Drugi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iwan Sobania. Kosiska SSA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Przemyslaw Drugi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Przemyslaw Drugis short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Iwan Sobania to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Klement Marchewka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over GKS Piomar could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kosiska SSA throughout the match.
