When Miroslaw Kalemba came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the FC Kaer Mohren fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miroslaw Kalemba couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iwan Okropny during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes FC Kaer Mohren got a freekick which was hit by Iwan Okropny. In the 23rd minute, Miromir Pawelczyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miromir Pawelczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olgierd Niedbalski having to interfere. In the 45th minute Mieszko Zacharek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugeniusz Wojtowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugeniusz Wojtowicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miroslaw Kalemba in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mieszko Zacharek made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Szwarcenowo SSA's zone, Mieszko Zacharek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugeniusz Wojtowicz came out of the goal and Mieszko Zacharek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
