After a defensive mix-up in Dölitz's zone, Kazimierz Czubski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ziemowit Olchowy came out of the goal and Kazimierz Czubski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dawid Okopny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Fabian Resel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruch Chorzów's Fabian Resel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szymon Jucha in the 28th minute of play. If Szymon Jucha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Szymon Jucha fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Dawid Okopny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tanek Perkowski during the 44th minute. Ziemowit Olchowy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Witold Banach, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Dawid Okopny came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Dölitz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dawid Okopny couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the match, Ruch Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Dawid Okopny came free, but Fabian Resel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dawid Okopny took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabian Resel. Fabian Resel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 88th match minute, Ruch Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanek Perkowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Witold Banach sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ruch Chorzów's Fabian Resel didn't even have to move. Fabian Resel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dawid Okopny, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szymon Jucha in the 95th minute of play forced Ruch Chorzów's goalkeeper Fabian Resel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dölitz were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
