Spectators: 6811 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) 4 minutes into the match, Lech poznań's goalkeeper Karol Purzycki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leszek Waldoch. Pawel Czciborek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pawel Czciborek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Lech poznań getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Pawel Czciborek hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the game, Sylwester Domarecki recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karol Purzycki. Sylwester Domarecki showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pawel Czciborek in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludomir Glembin saved Avia Świdnik from getting behind. Krzysztof Hetman kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The supporters of Avia Świdnik booed when Lech poznań was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borys Dawiec didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tanek Mis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Arkadiusz Skaradoski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Avia Świdnik's Tanek Mis got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 39 played minutes Lech poznań got a freekick which was hit by Borys Dawiec. Sylwester Domarecki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karol Purzycki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Leszek Waldoch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Karol Purzycki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Borys Dawiec kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. If Sylwester Domarecki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Arkadiusz Skaradoski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylwester Domarecki in the 63rd minute of play forced Lech poznań's goalkeeper Karol Purzycki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Andrzej Mocko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pawel Czciborek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Leszek Waldoch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ludomir Glembin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkadiusz Skaradoski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Avia Świdnik defense, Pawel Czciborek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ludomir Glembin. The Avia Świdnik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ludomir Glembin should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pawel Czciborek got free with Ludomir Glembin in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 87 minutes into the match, Lech poznań's goal looked a bit too open when Fryderyk Lepper came free, but Karol Purzycki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ludomir Glembin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiusz Skaradoski in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Leszek Waldoch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avia Świdnik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leszek Waldoch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karol Purzycki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leszek Waldoch in the 97th minute of play.
