Michal Falke ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Piotr Kornasiewicz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bernard Slazak. That made the score 1-1 in the 12 minute of play. When Jurand Dabrowski fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Witold Nakoneczny got free with Bernard Slazak in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Radoslaw Liberko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoni Nigbor having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Iskra Opole's Radoslaw Liberko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antoni Nigbor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Antoni Nigbor managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Iskra Opole's Radoslaw Liberko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Michal Falke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iskra Opole were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
