In the 31st minute Szczepan Niedzwiecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobald Tomiczek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rafal Czajka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zielone Błyskawice's attentive Ludomil Blicharz managed to snatch the ball when Radowit Ruzicki made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. After the first half Zielone Błyskawice were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ryszard Serwacki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariusz Sikola in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 57th match minute, UKS Błyskawica Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Szarmach to maneuver through the defense. Rafal Czajka, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Szczepan Niedzwiecki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Teobald Tomiczek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Teobald Tomiczek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafal Czajka, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Szczepan Niedzwiecki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobald Tomiczek having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in UKS Błyskawica Warszawa's zone, Szczepan Niedzwiecki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobald Tomiczek came out of the goal and Szczepan Niedzwiecki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The UKS Błyskawica Warszawa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Zielone Błyskawice were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
