The audience was convinced that Leszek Debowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mariusz Lewkowicz was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After 15 minutes of play Skindzierz's Borys Czajka was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. One of Rowing Masters:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Skindzierz:s goal. Pankracy Kempski shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Jan Jurgiel struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Mariusz Lewkowicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rowing Masters. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Piotr Zawada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rowing Masters's supporters rose to their feet, but Piotr Zawada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariusz Lewkowicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Piotr Zawada made a kick off. Mariusz Lewkowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piotr Zawada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Skindzierz booed when Rowing Masters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klement Gaszynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pankracy Kempski, 100 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
