Spectators: 7351 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 148) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gwidon Mnich took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Konrad Bryk in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofil Kowalski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gwidon Mnich's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcin Jankowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute Gwidon Mnich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcin Jankowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zygmunt Kolba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofil Kowalski having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Konrad Bryk in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teofil Kowalski saved Milenium Bieliny from getting behind. Teofil Kowalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Bryk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ksawery Tylinski came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Milenium Bieliny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ksawery Tylinski couldn't finish the play. Błyskawica Płock's Stefan Tomiczek got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 39 minutes, Zygmunt Kolba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Błyskawica Płock's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zygmunt Kolba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcin Jankowski had great luck who in the 46thth minute grab hold of the ball when Gwidon Mnich from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Konrad Bryk was the one to do the kick off. Zbyszko Basaik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Leszek Konieczny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofil Kowalski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Bryk, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Zygmunt Kolba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Błyskawica Płock's supporters rose to their feet, but Zygmunt Kolba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofil Kowalski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
